Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-23
This privacy policy applies to the SEO Health Chrome extension (the "Extension"). We take page data and account information seriously. This policy explains what data the Extension collects, why, how it is used and stored, and the rights you have.
1. Data We Collect
The Extension collects the following data only when you actively use it:
- Current page content: when you open the side panel, the Extension reads SEO-related information from the active tab — title, meta tags, heading structure (H1–H6), author byline, publish/modified dates, image and link counts (including outbound link domains), structured data, and up to 50,000 characters of body text — for on-device analysis.
- Account information: if you choose to sign in, we receive your user ID, email, nickname, avatar, and credit balance via InfiniSynapse SSO. We never see your password.
We do not collect browsing history or data from other tabs, and no collection happens while the Extension is closed.
2. How We Use Data
- Local analysis: on-page SEO checks, issue lists, heading outlines, and AI visibility scoring run entirely in your browser. Page data does not leave your device.
- AI deep analysis (sign-in required): only when you explicitly trigger an AI EEAT analysis is the page's SEO data sent over HTTPS to our backend (https://aimeetup.center) and processed by InfiniSynapse's AI service under your account, consuming your InfiniSynapse credits.
- Session storage: credentials and profile data are stored locally (chrome.storage.local) to keep you signed in, and are deleted when you sign out.
3. Third-Party Services
- InfiniSynapse: authentication (SSO) and AI analysis. Page SEO data is sent to InfiniSynapse only when AI analysis is triggered, subject to its privacy policy.
- Supabase: server-side storage of account and credit data.
- Vercel: hosting for our backend and website.
4. Sharing & Retention
- We never sell or rent your data, and never use it for advertising or purposes unrelated to the Extension's core functionality.
- Locally analyzed page data is not retained on our servers; AI analysis payloads are used only for the requested analysis and are not used to train models.
- Account data is retained while your InfiniSynapse account remains active.
5. Your Rights
- Sign out at any time to immediately clear locally stored credentials.
- Skip AI deep analysis to keep all processing entirely on your device.
- Uninstalling the Extension removes all data it stored on your device.
6. Permissions
Browser permissions the Extension requests and why:
- activeTab / scripting: injects the collection script into the active tab to read page SEO information, only when you open the Extension.
- host_permissions (all sites): reads the current site's robots.txt and sitemap.xml for SEO checks, and calls our backend from the side panel.
- storage: keeps your sign-in state locally.
- identity: completes the InfiniSynapse OAuth sign-in flow.
- sidePanel: renders the analysis UI in the browser side panel.
7. Changes & Contact
We will update this page if the policy changes, with the date noted. For questions, requests, or data deletion, please reach us via the contact channels provided on our website (https://aimeetup.center).
